Terms of use
Version 1 · Published: 21 August 2026Terms of use
These terms govern access to WOSU and the connected LOSU and DOSU community functions.
1. Nature of the service
WOSU is a private, non-commercial community project. There is no entitlement to public registration, admission, permanent access or permanent availability. Normal access requires an authorised osu! team and a verifiable osu! identity.
2. Accounts and permitted use
Users may only use accounts and identities they are authorised to use and must keep credentials confidential. Attacks, bypassing authentication/permissions/rate limits, unauthorised scraping or mass access, identity misuse, intentional data manipulation and unlawful use are prohibited. WOSU may restrict or remove access where eligibility ends, abuse occurs or security or operation is threatened.
3. osu! data and WOSU models
Official osu! profile data, scores and rankings remain data of the relevant third party or user. WOSU rankings, skill values, replay analyses, training assessments and progress models are independent platform calculations, not official osu!/ppy rankings or evaluations, and may change as data, models and corrections evolve.
4. Community functions
Training, Discovery, quests, achievements and similar functions are game-like community support features. There is no entitlement to a specific recommendation, order, assessment or reward. Availability may differ by team, Discord guild, role, data coverage or technical state. Users remain responsible for their conduct and content in connected areas.
5. Availability and third parties
WOSU is operated with reasonable care but without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, development, security actions and changes by osu!, Discord or other dependencies may affect functions. Third-party services remain subject to their own terms.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, WOSU is not liable for indirect loss, lost data, lost benefits, failures of third-party services or decisions made solely on rankings, skill values, training suggestions or automated analyses. Liability for intent, gross negligence and mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
7. Privacy and ending access
Personal data is processed under the published WOSU privacy policy. Users may stop using WOSU at any time; access may also end under these terms or when eligibility ends. Ending access does not necessarily cause immediate deletion of all historical data.
8. Changes and law
These terms may be updated when functions, community processes, security requirements or legal conditions change. The published version is authoritative. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, Swiss law applies.
